She Finished her first level of Obedience which is her PN(pre novice) title. In the same show she was awarded a Champion ribbon, which earned her the title of Total Dog for winning two awards in the same show. We are so proud of her because she was not real sure about the show life. But she overcame her fear of the ring, and succeeded! The show weekend in July 2022, she took three Champion ribbons ,a reserve champion ribbon, Three Best Of Breed ribbons, and a 3rd place in gun dog group, This past weekend in Kiowa, she was in the champion class with other beautiful Champions, and won a class 3! This earned her her Grand Champion Title. She has been tested for hips(L-0,30 R-0.29), elbows(good), heart(good), dentition(full) Thyroid health(normal),and just updated her eyes, (normal),and is registered with BetterBred for her diversity panel. In some cases owners don't know the first thing about training a puppy to have house manners, Like COME, GO, OFF, LEAVE IT, STAY, SIT, etc. That is why we offer training for your new puppy, at an extra cost of course, but if you don't have the time, it is WELL worth the money to have a new puppy at your home with built in manners! ask us about our rates, because it will all depend on what your particular needs are, and how long that training will take. Particularly DOGS! I love them, everything about them. My parents started out their marriage early years showing Dobermans. Over the years we have had many different breeds, and had many years of learning what training methods work best with what dogs. As an adult it just seemed natural for me to start an obedience training business. I did that (training) for many years, and even included classes with the rec district of Montrose county. After my kids started school, we decided I needed to home school my kids, and I ended my dog training business. My kids are grown now, and so I am back to my love of dogs. I specifically loved the Standard Poodle's Intelligence, and wanted to try a breeding program that focused on personality and health traits, as well as beauty. I believed I could achieve a better Standard poodle based on those qualities, AND have beauty too. And so, High Mesa Standards was born. I know you are going to love our puppies as much as we do. Telluride has earned his UKC CHAMPIONSHIP in just his first show weekend! He is highly intelligent, willing and a bit goofy and fun hearted too. We have taken a small break from showing so that I could get his sister's first Title as well. He has just been tested for hips(L-0,32 R-0.35), elbows(good), heart(good), dentition(full),Eyes(normal) and Thyroid health(normal), as well as his already cleared Genetics and is diversity test through BetterBred. We have used him for one outside breeding and he produced 8 beautiful healthy puppies. He is a silver parti tuxedo,60 lbs and 26" tall at the shoulder. He carries Phantom, Blue, Brindle and Brown. RETIRED Right now Breezy is a UKC CHAMPION, and needs only one more Champion win to earn her GRAND Championship. We decided to retire her and have her spayed. She loves to show, and only pauses when we are having puppies(and for Covid). She has had her 4th and last litter of puppies. She will live out the remainder of her life here at the farm as she is my heart doggie. She has produced Black Parti, Blue Parti, Silver Parti, Cream Sables, and Silver Sables. Her puppies most likely carry Phantom, Sable and Brindle and some have carried Brown. She has produced two puppies who have gone on to achieve their UKC CHAMPIONSHIPS and One go on the her GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP as well, and those three have earned their Trick novice titles.
